This is it…time is running out bring your goodies…..by 6:30 AM.
We have an excellent opportunity to do a garage sale on Grand Ave. in the Century 21 parking lot. It will be Saturday, February 23. We need a real commitment from our membership to make this successful. We will have to bring everything that morning and then of course take what is left to a donation center after the event. We have done this in the past and made over $600.
If you haven’t already received a call from one of our board directors, you will! We are trying to make sure there is a commitment from our membership for this activity. We need items to sell as well as workers. We will have to have items pre-priced, a generic pricing guide, or price as we go. We will start at 6AM getting things out and organized and hope to close down around 2 with volunteers taking what is left to donation centers. (Suggestions for donation centers are appreciated. I know that Goodwill has a center on Pathfinder—but I am open to other sites.)
This is one of our major fund raisers with money being used for branch operations and Funds (Educational Foundation and Legal Advocacy Fund).
